The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, Kigun Gusau, has congratulated Senator Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari, Marafan Sokoto, on his appointment as Director-General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Campaign Council.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Gusau described Senator Yari as “a complete gentleman, confident and experienced leader” whose dedication and commitment have contributed significantly to development in Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.
“As my brother and leader, I certainly believe without any fear of contradiction that he is equal to the task on the assigned responsibility to him by the president. By the special grace of God, he will deliver,” the NFF President said.
He noted that Yari’s hard work, dedication and commitment were evident during his tenure as Executive Governor of Zamfara State, where he made significant contributions to the development of the state.
“As he embarks on this gigantic but important assignment as Director-General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, I am confident that he will make judicious utilization of his vast experience towards realizing the set objectives nationwide, in view of his cordial and harmonious working relationships with people across the geographical zones of our dear country, Nigeria,” Gusau added.
The NFF President prayed for God’s wisdom, strength and guidance for Senator Yari in the discharge of his new assignment.
“Once again, I wish the esteemed Senator abundant success in his new responsibility,” he said.
