Nollywood has been put into mourning since the untimely demise of a promising actress Gbemi Anjola some hours ago.

Tributes have been pouring in for the late actress from her colleagues on social media.

Reports claimed that Gbemi Anjola died a few days after recovering from Ovarian cancer.

Celebrities including Kolawole Ajeymei, Olayinka Solomon, Itele, Nkechi Blessing, Owooniran Rasak, Kunle Afod, Mustapha Sholagbade, Kiki Bakre, Biodun Omoburty, Kayode Adebayo, Jamiu Azeez, Wunmi Ajiboye, and others mourned Gbemi Anjola’s death.

Kolawole Ajeyemi, on his Instagram page , urged his fans to live carefully as life can be taken anytime.

He wrote, “I’ll keep saying it, nothing in this world is forever; We all work and struggle so hard on a life that can be taken anytime, it’s all vanity upon vanity. Good night Gbemi.

Olayinka Solomon declared the day as a sad day because she lost her dear Gbemi. She wrote, “Gbemi Gbemi Gbemi Always a happy soul…..innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiun 😭 Today is really a sad day….

May Almighty Allah forgive ur sins because of the holy month Amin…..”

Also, Itele mourned Gbemi’s death with a deep thought on the vanity of life.
