‎‎US Rapper Rick Ross Arrested Over Domestic Violence ‎

‎Rapper Rick Ross was arrested on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Miami Beach, Florida.

‎He faces two domestic violence-related charges, one felony count of battery by strangulation and one misdemeanor count of battery.

‎The arrest follows allegations stemming from an August incident involving his ex-girlfriend, model and content creator Jazzma Kendrick, who publicly accused him of physical abuse on social media.

‎Ross surrendered to authorities and was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. During a Thursday morning hearing, Judge Mindy Glazer set his total bond at $6,000 ($5,000 for the felony, $1,000 for the misdemeanor) and issued a stay-away order.

‎His formal arraignment is scheduled for October 22, 2026.

‎His attorney, Bradley Horenstein, denied the claims, stating that the rapper is innocent, was wrongfully accused, and urged the public to let the legal process play out.
