The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled its governorship and deputy governorship candidates for the 2027 general elections in 28 states.
The party announced the candidates in a statement on Friday, saying the move was part of efforts to present credible leadership and provide Nigerians with a viable alternative ahead of the 2027 elections.
Among the notable candidates are Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for Lagos State, Isa Mohammed Ashiru for Kaduna State, Great Ogboru for Delta State, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita for Katsina State and former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, for Kebbi State.
The ADC also fielded candidates in states including Adamawa, Kano, Rivers, Oyo, Ogun, Plateau and Zamfara.
According to the party, the candidates will carry its banner and its commitment to offering Nigerians credible leadership and a “real alternative” in the 2027 elections.
The list covers 28 states, with each governorship candidate paired with a deputy governorship candidate.
