Nigerians have reacted to the snub of Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta at the nominations for the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA.

A few days ago, Multichoice announced the nomination lists for the 2023 awards, which comes up soon. Nollywood stars such as Kunle Afolayan, Femi Adebayo, Funke Akindele and others earned big nominations during the announcement.

Actress Funke Akindele bagged 10 nominations for her box office record-breaking movie, Battle on Buka Street. She was nominated in 9 categories of AMVCA for Battle on Buka Street, while one was for her series on Africa Magic, My Siblings & I.

A Nollywood movie influencer noticed the snub of Ibrahim Chatta during the nomination of Femi Adebayo’s film King of Thieves. His pivotal role contributed greatly to the success of the movie.

Sharing their thoughts online, many noted that Ibrahim Chatta is a brilliant actor who is good at interpreting different roles perfectly . He has delivered perfectly well since the first time he appeared on the screen as an actor.
