Few days after the passing of the late Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpota has finally broken her silence.
Peace Anyiam-Osigwe , the Founder/Chief Executive Officer, Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) passed away at the St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos after a brief illness on Monday, 9th January.
Joining her colleagues in the industry to mourn the passing of an icon, Chioma revealed that she struggled to believe that the deceased is no more. Revealing her innermost pain, she noted that she regrets not following up on their last conversation.
She wrote: “For 2 days I have struggled to believe you aren’t here with us anymore
I still do not have the right words Peace. I will forever regret not following up on our last conversation. No more pain Peace! No more Fears and worries. Just sitting pretty at the feet of the Master with your beautiful crown. Rest in Peace my Dear PEACE ANYIAM OSIGWE”.
