Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye sues Moja Love for R100 million after being dumped by the TV channel.
The Uyajola 9/9 host demands that the channel pays his January salary which is over R500k.
He reportedly demanded R72 million from Moja Love for his song Uthando Noxolo used as a soundtrack by the broadcasting channel.
Jub Jub claimed he was unaware that Moja Love had not paid him and that his bonuses of R20 000 in 2022 and R50,000 in 2021 were also unpaid.
He wanted R10 million in compensation after the channel used his photographs for billboards without his permission.
The musician demanded R8 million for not being properly notified about his dismissal, which he expected to take place after five years as stipulated in their contract.
“I have not been compensated in a form of goodwill nor as royalties for my song, notwithstanding various agreements to do so on various occasions.”
