Let’s give God glory for taking us through the first six months of the year and moving us into the seventh month of the year.
It’s not by our power but by His mercy that we are amongst the living that welcome the seventh month of the year.
Beloved, as we progress in the seventh month, may to the Lord take us to His wealthy place.
You may want to associate the Lord’s wealthy place to material things especially money.
Not exactly. Moving to a wealthy place could mean moving from obscurity to the limelight.
It could mean moving from barrenness to fruitfulness.
It may also mean from a state of lacking something to having that same thing in surplus.
Psalm 66 vs. 12 (KJV): “ Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place”.
Verse 13 states: “ I will go into thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay thee my vows”.
These two verses capture our state while going through a challenge, when the Lord gives us victory and what we do when we have attained victory.
A wealthy place for a patient that doctors have given little or no chance of survival manifests when the patient recovers beyond the expectation of medical science.
For a person who has worked hard with nothing to show for it, promotion is his wealthy place. Especially when such a person now has something to show and people can see that he has experienced a turn around.
In the case of a couple, waiting on the Lord for up to a decade, a wealthy place is when the babies arrive and they arrive in multiples.
Beloved brother and sister in Christ, we cannot but go through challenges in life but our confidence is in Christ that has overcome all challenges.
Brethren, you may not have a breakthrough without challenges. Sometimes, they are indeed the step to test your faith and trust in God.
I quote Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye of R.C.C.G. who once said; “ things may get bitter before they get better”.
During the journey into the Promised Land, the Israelites encountered challenges.
Exodus 15 vs. 22-24: “So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the water was made sweet : there he made for them a statue and an ordinance, and there he proved them”.
Brethren, you can imagine what it is to be thirsty and there is no water to drink.
The time of a challenge is a time of thirst, as a human being you want to overcome but your capacity to overcome is limited or even not available
What do you do? At a time like this, six months gone into the year and you are still thirsty for something, do not murmur, rather present your case to God in humility.
Complaints never solve problems but the action you take in prayer could lead to a breakthrough that would surprise you.
Often times, when we pray and the answers do no manifest as soon as we want, we want to give up. That is a wrong attitude. The way to a breakthrough is to press forward in prayer and obedience to the commandments of God.
Brethren, the Holy Spirit sees what you do not see but if you have a relationship with the Comforter, he will show you the plans of the LORD for you.
May the Lord open our ears to hear the voice of God while going through challenges?
When you begin to think that the answer is coming too late, the breakthrough is around the corner and the devil is simply putting doubt in your mind.
May God give us the grace to trust in him at all times and in all situations?
Beloved, you are in July, don’t be discouraged, God has a lot for you before the year ends only if you remain steadfast with Him.
Amos 9 vs. 13-15: “ Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
And I will bring the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God”.
Did you get the message?
When God visits a woman called barren and she gives birth to multiple babies; a set of triplets, her time of joy has come and no one can uproot her from her matrimonial home any more.
Such a woman has moved from lack to abundance.
That would be your story in this second half of the year by God’s grace.
With such a miracle, her mockers are silenced forever.
I’ll share the testimony of a lady who fell sick and for over three years, she remained unconscious . She could not do anything by herself. Doctors, declared hers a closed case. They were waiting for the day she would breathe her last breath.
While everyone lost hope, her Pastor kept hope alive. He told her husband not to give up assuring him that God is able to turn her around.
To the glory of God after almost three years , suddenly, she began to recover. She became sensitive again. Gradually, she continued to recover and today, she is back on her feet.
Jesus stepped into her situation and her story changed.
Beloved, stop thinking that the year is fast going to the end.
Physically, that is true but let your mind see you get your miracle before the year-end.
Or are you in debt and it all seems you would never be able to pay?
Cry to Jehovah El Shaddai and you will soon be a blessing to others.
God is able to turn that unpleasant situation to a joyful one.
Get ready to move from lack to abundance as you walk with God in the remaining days of the year.
For you 2026 is still loaded with blessings .
May God empower you to access those blessings in Jesus name.
The distance to your wealthy place is shorter than you think.
Fear not, it is well.
