The Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement and a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Olajide Adediran, popularly called Jandor, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs. Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour, mother of Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour,
the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Lagos State,
Rhodes-Vivour disclosed the development on Monday in a statement posted on his official X account.
The statement, issued on behalf of the family by Olawale Rhodes-Vivour, described the deceased as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother.
In his condolence message, Adediran described the death of mothers as a painful loss, not only to her immediate family but also to everyone who has been impacted by her life and motherly love.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the entire Rhodes-Vivour family, and all the associates of the late matriarch, praying that God would grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
According to Adediran, “I received the news of your mother’s passing with sadness. Please accept my sincere condolences and be assured that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Rhodes-Vivour family.
“May Almighty God grant her eternal rest,” he said.
Meanwhile, the bereaved family, in a statement, said details of the funeral arrangements would be announced at a later date.
Rhodes-Vivour contested the 2023 Lagos State governorship election on the platform of the Labour Party.
