Harry And Meghan Plan California Christmas With Children

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning to spend Christmas in California with their children, despite their recent return to the UK.

A friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told the Daily Mail that the family intends to head back to the United States in the coming weeks for the festive season.

The couple have retained their multi-million-dollar home in Montecito, an affluent community north of Los Angeles, since stepping away from royal duties six years ago to establish a life outside the monarchy.

Their reported Christmas plans come amid speculation about the reasons behind their return to Britain. These have included suggestions that they want their children to build a closer relationship with their grandfather, King Charles III, and reports that Meghan may be considering a return to acting.

Charles was previously said to welcome the prospect of spending more time with his family, although he has reportedly maintained that Harry and Meghan will not resume duties as working royals.

The British royal family traditionally gathers at Sandringham in Norfolk for Christmas. Harry and Meghan’s reported plans would see them spend the holiday in California instead.

The couple have not publicly confirmed their Christmas arrangements.
