In commemorating the 64th birthday of the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, RT Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, the Member representing Surulere 1 at the House of Representatives, Rep Fuad Kayode Laguda and the APC candidate for Surulere 1 House of Assembly seat, Barr. Barakat Odunuga-Bakare have donated cash, foodstuff and essential materials to an orphanage home and families of new born in Surulere.
Amidst joy and cheers, the duo visited the Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, Surulere and Maternal and Child Care Facility of the Randle General Hospital.
The delegation donated foodstuff, beverages and cleanliness materials to the children at the Heart of Gold Children’s Hospice while the new born at the maternal and child facility were given cash gifts.
Speaking at the presentation, the Chief of Staff to Rep. Laguda, Martins Megbon noted the initiative is solely to celebrate and appreciate the life of the Chief of Staff.
“Today, on behalf of Rep. Fuad Kayode Laguda and Barr. Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, we are here to celebrate our supreme leader, RT Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, on his 64th birthday by donating essential materials to Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice and cash to families of babies delivered today at the Maternal and Child Care of Randle General Hospital.
“This initiative is the same the RT Hon. Gbajabiamila is known for. He is a humanitarian per excellence and what better way to celebrate him than to follow his footsteps. We are celebrating years of commitment to development, service to humanity and continuous efforts to ensure dividends of democracy get to all and sundry“, he reiterated.
