First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is on a one-day working visit to Kogi state today where she will inaugurate the newly completed Kogi State Treasury House and empower women.
A statement issued by the Media Office of the Wife of the Kogi State Governor, said the First Lady will also inspect the National Community Food Bank Project for the North Central geopolitical zone and inaugurate the Office of the Kogi State Health Insurance Agency (KGSHIA).
The statement added that Senator Tinubu will flag off a women empowerment programme, where beneficiaries will receive startup grants and other empowerment items to boost their livelihoods.
It expressed appreciation to the First Lady for choosing Kogi for the visit, assuring that the wife of the governor, government officials, women, youths and residents of the state are prepared to give her a warm reception in the Confluence State.
